The International Women's Club of Dublin
The International Women’s Club of Dublin (IWCD) is a social club with two main objectives. One is to welcome and assist newcomers and their families to Ireland. The other is to further members’ knowledge and understanding of Ireland.
Being a part of the IWCD will help make Dublin feel like home more quickly by making new friends and participating in some of the many activities that we offer. You will have the support of women who are established within Dublin.
The IWCD is entirely volunteer run, and offers a variety of activities throughout the club year including personal development, cultural experiences, fitness, and more.
Our monthly meetings are an opportunity to meet other members over a cup of coffee or tea, and listen to guest speakers who talk on a variety of interesting subjects. The club meets monthly from September to June in Stillorgan from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month during our membership season. For those new to the club, a Membership Committee member will call you to inform you of the next club meeting. You must attend at least one club meeting before your application for membership can be processed.
Activities for Everyone!
Our tours and activities take us all over Dublin to its galleries, museums and cultural institutions. We have language conversation groups, cookery demonstrations, sporting and cultural events which allow members to socialise and make friends, as well as learn about Irish society and culture.
From hill walking to book clubs; from golf lessons to coffee mornings and from yoga classes to get-togethers for mums of babies and toddlers, we have something for all tastes and activity levels. So if you are new to Dublin, why not join our social network?
